1. Salem Witch Trials (1692-1693)
Hysteria and paranoia take place in community. 200 people were involved of witchcraft. Twenty of them were executed that day. The trials were started by superstition and fear that turned neighbor against neighbor. Just think of people living in a time where simply being some different could get you executed!

2. Dyatlov Pass Incident (1959)
In Ural Mountain A group of nine high-experienced hikers met horrific end. Their tent was found ripped open from the inside, and their bodies were scattered across the pass, some with bizarre injuries like missing eyes and a missing tongue and scars. The cause of their deaths has never been fully explained, with theories ranging from avalanches to secret military experiments to some devils work. Just thinking about it!

3. Villisca Axe Murders (1912)
In Villisca, Iowa. On a one quiet night the Moore family and their two young guests were murdered in their sleep with an axe. The killer was never caught, and the case remains mystery to this day. The house where the murders took place is now a museum of this history, and visitors report strange things like children’s voices, falling lamps, and moving objects till this day. If you like ghost hunting, visit this place if you dare.

4. Disappearance of the Sodder Children (1945)
In Fayetteville, West Virginia. On Christmas Eve ,a fire burned the home of the Sodder family. Five of the children bodies are never discovered. Despite the house burning down, no remains were found, and strange clues suggested mysterious play. a disconnected phone line, a missing ladder, and a person who claimed to have seen the children in a passing car which can lead to any other clues. They are still searching for their children but all in vain.

5. Hinterkaifeck Murders (1922)
This case from Germany remains one unsolved crimes. The entire Gruber family was found murdered on their remote farm. Days before the murders, the family reported hearing strange footsteps in the balcony and found a newspaper that no one in the household had taken. Despite so much investigations, the killer was never found, and the eerie circumstances leading up to the murders continue to haunt all neighbourhood in Germany where no one feeled safed anymore

6. Winchester Mystery House (1884-1922)
After her husband got died. Sarah Winchester began building a huge mansion in San Jose, California. She felt she was haunted by the ghosts of people killed by Winchester and continuing building would save her. The end product is a strange maze of staircases that lead literally nowhere. doors that open into walls and hidden corridors. The mansion, which is now a tourist attraction is supposed to be haunted by the restless spirits Sarah was so afraid of.
